Seen her in April earlier this year at coco's and she absolutely blew me away. I'm not usually a fan of live acts but these guys really put on a performance, the band is so tight and her voice is oh so good!

a modern day soul sister for sure!

Proper live soul music.:thumbsup::thumbup: What an incredible performance, only spoiled slightly by the proportion of the crowd who looked like they came from Didsbury and seriously did not know when to shut the fuck up. Sharon's talking between songs was drowned. Nice to see her do Everybody Needs Somebody to Love as a tribute to Solomon Burke. If you didn't go and could've, you should've.

Completely sold out at the Paradiso in Amsterdam on a drizzly Monday night. Sharon Jones is dynamite on stage and the crowd were wild for her and the band.

Shame we could hardly see a thing though. We got there a bit late (a 13km cycle ride through the mist-filled woods of Amsterdam) and were at the back of the hall. There was no room to move - and the Dutch are the tallest nation in the world! yes.gifhuh.gif

God knows indeed  ...

What a fantastic night, saw loads of familiar faces, watched the show from the balcony. For over an hour she ( Sharon Jones) never stopped.

Must agree with Soulfinger though there seemed a lot of people there just for a night out.

A soulnight after the show would have just finished the night off:lol:
