Does anyone have any facts about which Tamla Motown LP was pressed in the least numbers, excluding the Martin Luther King release. My reason for asking is that after a discussion with a long standing dealer, we both agreed that `The Temptations Sing Smokey` TML11016 is rarely seen for sale for example.

Had a discussion today with my mate Mick and he is saying one of the rarest LP's to have on Motown has a photo of the 'Motown House' (his words) on the cover, I'm presuming the Hitsville USA house? Anyway I cannot find a Motown (UK or otherwise) LP with this sort of cover??? Is there one in existence?

Is it Motown Memories Volume 2 ? When i used to collect Motown albums vol 2 was always a lot harder to find than vol 1. It had Barbara McNair's "You're gonna love my baby" on it.  Hard to find but not one of the rarest.

Yes I think that is the one he is on about, there is a row of houses on the cover. Someone in an earlier post said it's 'West Grand Bld'.

In my collection.

it isn't the rarest though and not that hard to pick up these days, been a few pretty cheap through eBay.

Well that's what I thought but my mate Mick thinks it is 😎

Motown Memories 2 has "theres a ghost in my house" but yet it didn't go big until played at the Mecca on the 45 single. It could have been massive years before 🙂

Firstly it's not on Tamla Motown and second there are 12 copies on Discogs starting at £5.46
