Are there any ?

In my current monday state I can only think of Eddie Murphy's "coming to America" and it's religious group " sexual chocolate" fronted by one Randy Watson.

Wasn't there a programme on TV a few years back with Angela Griffin in. A group called The Tallahassies or something similar?

The lead singer apparently had given Angela's characters mum one, behind the Casino apparently! I think Ian McShane was in it as well.

Just found it...Soul Survivors

..Around the same time as the Talahassies appeared in Soul Survivors Leny Henry appeared in a soul band doing cover versions, they appeared on TV but it was cringeworthy and I have deliberatley forgotten their name. .
