Ian Parker
Just browsing popsike , there seems to be many 'original' pressings of the above, on Mirwood.... Some written by Fred smith, others by Shirlie Matthews ? Which is proper and where does mine fit in ? p.s. I bought mine from a dealer, a couple of yrs back , as OV Edited April 17, 2015 by IanP Link to comment Social source share
Guest Gogs
This is the same as my copy, and is also the same as the picture of the original shown in Manship's 5th guide. Link to comment Social source share

Garethx
The Smith-Relf-Nelson ones are Monarch pressings, the Shirlie Matthews credit is on MGM-pressed copies. Makes sense that the MGM ones are East Coast (so Bloomfield NJ). No idea why the writer credits are different or if there is a time lapse between the two pressings. Both are completely legit originals. 1 Link to comment Social source share

Guest Gogs
Why do some state at the bottom "available worldwide" while others don't ? Link to comment Social source share
45cellar
Why do some state at the bottom "available worldwide" while others don't ? Appears to depend on which pressing plant. Often wondered why too. Here's 5523 Some say nothing, others Available Worldwide Then there's this one. Available in U.S.A. and Canada ONLY. We know that isn't the case as it was released U.S.A., Canada, UK, France etc 1 Link to comment Social source share
stokesoulboy
Crest view did the same "available for license " on some of there release Lps ? Randall was happy to get a few dollars in for product that was in the can or didn't sell , he must of liked the fact that soussan paid him for music that couldn't sell in the states or Canada, hence the license deals available . I really love this labels output tho. Some text book northern sounds . 1 Link to comment Social source share
