  • Indeed Sir.  Mid and even down tempo soul music all the way for me.  Thinking back to my yoof stompers and hundred mile an hour records always freaked me out!   LOL

  • I'd have thought more! What a great record!

    Manships sold one quite few years ago for about £1,300 or there abouts on his auction, not many mint- ones come up for sale, one of the best mid tempo 60s northern records for me.

Crops up in low grade condition and seems to go for £700/800. Minters have to be a grand if not more.

I think there are also reversed labels of this.......

Luckily mine the right way round, bought from Koppel collection via Tim Brown back in the 90's

for £400, mines a VG++ :thumbsup:

What about Pat Thompson & Archie Powell - equally rare?

No. Archie and Pat probably the easiest to find on it, or was at one point.

Re Ascots. Sold mine for about £600-700 I think probably 4-5 years ago. Just doesnt turn up that often then gets snapped up. "Anytime" is just as good, if not even better. Depends what kind of mood you're in.

Great record :thumbsup: Patty Stokes too !!!!

i used to play it at the likes of Todmorden & Snaith, it was a warm up record cos it was so slow, oh how things change :D

I think the group soul collectors like this, probably other collectors as well. Seems to always attract huge interest even in rough condition.

Got all the Miradon stuff off of Craig Moerer when he did paper lists.

All mint so presumably he got the stock.

Anytime is better in my book. Fantastic record and a brilliant two-sider. And rarer? Does not seem to be for sale as often as another day...

Agree with this, as good as Any Day is Anytime beats it hands down imo + a cracking B side. Rarer ? Don't know about that but took me a while to get a mint copy

Perhaps not... Counted 20 vs 21 copies of another day vs. anytime on popsike though...

Another soul bowl record... I did not know that. Paid a lot more for mine... :-)
