so only released in italy and australia? they have to be pretty hard to find!

The Italian one is really hard (2/3 copys????), that Skervy Pirate, Pikey Dog has and italian 45 i think, best off going for the LP fairly easy to pick up

Mine came out of Record & Tape - Notting Hill Gate for a quid. Clarkie gave it a mention in "Shades" at the time. He wasn't aware of an italian issue till he saw mine.

Thanks Franky Ive seen the issue sleeve but

Im looking for the demo sleeve to see if its the

same or it actually has ABBA on the title info

I cant see them making a PIC sleeve for a demo that has two different artists.

thats why I was asking to see the one Warren said he has ......

A demo but with a pic sleeve????????????

Im assuming its just an issue sleeve he has with a demo copy in the sleeve

and not a specific one advertising ABBA on the flip.

But one should never assume so thats why Im asking to see it.

regards gasher

I will post up a pic tomorrow of the demo both sides

It says something aboot jukeboxes on it If I'm not losing

my mind. I suppose it would make sense

to demo two diff artists on one single to see if either were successful

to save money initially. Then release them if they got any demand

or maybe Marcia did'nt have a filp ready to record when they released

YGLG...I'm assuming ABBA would have..

just a very strange combination but hey 1976 disco anything goes even ABBA..haha

Wasn't Jumping Jack Flash the A-side?

If so seems a bit strange that the Italians picked the B-side to demo on a 45 with ABBA...

Not so strange really, RCA distributed Wizard in Australia, and of course Abba were on RCA too.

I have a nice Aussie copy of the Marcia Hines 45 for sale, EX condition, 350 UK POUNDS. Feel free to PM me.

When I say picture sleeve it's probably more accurate to say printed as there's no pictures on it. Both sides are written onto the sleeve in fancy red and black lettering with a little notice in the bottom right hand corner saying 'emissione speciale per disk jockey'. Bit like the Sam Fletcher picture cover.

By the way I'm not offering it up for sale coz it also does the business when I get booked for weddings.
