September 27, 200717 yr Erica - expect to pay over £2k Andy. cheers Steve guess thats my champagne tastes on beer money again back to the drawing board
September 27, 200717 yr In my top 5 records of all time. Has it all. Great vocal, exciting, vibrant backing track, great to dance to, hard to find, just about one of THE archetypal 45s that define Rare Soul. Fantastic record. Shame the 'players of presssings' have overplayed it over the years and it's now a somewhat blasie sound. Used to travel 100s of miles to hear records like this.

September 27, 200717 yr i think someones rubbing salt into the wound You could always go for the Bobby James version on Karol - nowt much in it to my ears but that was whiskey talkin. Is it pure coincidence that both versions are harder to find than RHS? Cheers Pete
September 27, 200717 yr Just out of intrest Pete what the UK one go for? Really hard to to say with Grapevines - one week they are expensive, the next week they are cheap. They're usually expensive when you need 2 or 3 to make up a set! I wouldn't ask more than £15 for the Jimmy Burns.
September 27, 200717 yr This is mine from the man himself....lol as Dave Moore said one of the greatest records ever. Regards - Mark Bicknell. Looking a bit grubby that one Mark, might wanna start looking for a new one!
