Guest
Nice version no matter where or what it`s from BLT ......but Jock still does it for me. Could be Jock Mitchell and someone has been playing around with the recording, sounds exact word for word and vocal expression, only in a doctered voice! pikeys dog
How would anyone fall for this not being Jock Mitchell sped up? It's crap by the way - the vocal wobbles due to being altered far too much. Link to comment Social source share

Mick Holdsworth
How would anyone fall for this not being Jock Mitchell sped up? It's crap by the way - the vocal wobbles due to being altered far too much. It's not speeded up as such, but it's the Pitch that has been raised, keeping the Speed, or Tempo the same. There are lots of bits of software out there that do this, some more accurately than others. for some reason, the "people" behind this and other recordings chose to do Poor Quality pitch changes, using low accuracy setting. (Just as easy to use High Accuracy settings and that would have prevented the altered vocals "wobbling"). There were a whole heap of tracks done a few years back , doctored versions of Frank Beverly, Porgy & Monarchs, loads of others, all either with the pitch raised or lowered to attempt to bend gender. I don't know anyone could be fooled, but fooled they were - A few CD's appeared on eBay at the time, boasting "Unreleased Versions" (without soundclips of course, otherwise they wouldn't have sold a single copy). Prophonics 2029
I did think it had to much speed but I thought it was like The Originals Suspicion that was speeded up on the first acetates. Link to comment Social source share
Mick Holdsworth
I did think it had to much speed but I thought it was like The Originals Suspicion that was speeded up on the first acetates. Yeah, it might be a touch fast, but not enough to give it that voice. Again, I think this is down to the inaccuracy of the software used to do this job.
