Posted February 23, 200916 yr Has anyone ever seen Flight "Playing Your Games" on Rocmar as opposed to SGA? I've picked up a copy on the latter imprint (see attachment below) and can't find any documentation. Thanks.
February 23, 200916 yr I've never seen that one before. Seems like the SGA issue is the second release as it credits (P) 1981 Rocmar Records, and has got different distribution info. Edited February 23, 200916 yr by Sebastian

Also it`s tucked away on the B side,so not the A side release as on the "SGA" copys, whats the A side on the "Rocmar" copy. Dave f........................

February 7, 201411 yr Both copies of this 45 are detailed on the Georgiasoul web site ........... ... https://www.georgiasoul.com/gasoul/n-s.html Ā Major input on this track from Jimmy Lord BrownĀ and I guess other members ofĀ the group Brick. Edited February 7, 201411 yr by Roburt
February 7, 201411 yr is there a site documenting the connection to Brick or is it just something people know but have not publicly documented? Ā additionally, any connection to flight on fly 4?

February 7, 201411 yr It says on the label co-produced by Jimmy Lord Brown/Brick, I guess that is the connection. Ā Edited February 7, 201411 yr by chalky
February 8, 201411 yr It says on the label co-produced by Jimmy Lord Brown/Brick, I guess that is the connection. Ā if it's produced by brick, that makes it much less likely that the band is brick
February 8, 201411 yr if it's produced by brick, that makes it much less likely that the band is brick Ā Ā I would agree, It is the only connection I can see and one of the writing credits having the same surname of Jimmy Lord Brown. Ā I've never seen anything to suggest Flight were Brick or anything else. Ā Edited February 8, 201411 yr by chalky
February 8, 201411 yr When I stated there was input from Brick on these Flight tracks, I wasn't trying to say that Flight were Brick, just that the guys from Brick were involved with the recordings. As Chalky pointed out , there's a guy with the surname of Brown who helped write their song. I always assumed this guy was related to Jimmy Lord Brown and that heĀ (& the other co-writers of the song) were the members of the group. Edited February 8, 201411 yr by Roburt
