I use to have a black & white poster on my bedroom wall as a kid back in Scotland, it was of the Scarborough run in 1980 ? with pictures of lads from York Sc and Selby Top Rank Sc , how weird that years later I ended up working beside one of them , with the immortal line - I use to have you're poster on my bedroom wall !!!!!!

Found their website , somebody already asked them if they were the same group on Coconut Grove but no answer as yet !!

Is this the same group ? If so anyone know what the album's like albeit " live " ?

Yep ! As an album only collector nowadays that sounds about right , unless as previously stated you get one shipped in from the states , the above one went for £95 last month but it was autographed , an oldie that still after all these years even gets the purists on the floor

So are we any closer to deciding who first played this out at the Mecca ? Last hour slot mentioned previously , who would DJ at that ?

Would of loved to of seen the dance floor reaction to that at the time !!

Nice one Mark , why so precise , you got this on a live tape from his spot ? Also interesting that Searling was playing this during the infamous Mecca / Wigan wars !!!

So John Anderson discovered it and it was a Mecca spin in the last hour ? Who played it out first then , did the same DJ always do the last hour , ie Levine / Curtis ?

My mate say's he remembers this getting spins at Blackpool Mecca ? I always thought it was a much later discovery ? I first heard it mid eighties played out by Soul Sam , can anybody expand ?
