Another bootlegging chancer
The Tobi Legend that appears on the ebay sale above is the exact same copy that appears on his event posting. Just look at the first letter 'a' in the word Mala & the slightly offset label.

VINYL sales outstrip downloads
Also it's Christmas shopping time & millions of 40 & 50 something Wives are buying £69.99 turntables for their Husbands from HMV and are chucking in a Pink Floyd & a Bowie album to make a change from the usual socks & slippers. Suppose they'll keep him quiet in his man-cave until the end of January...

Crossover Top 100
About 10 years ago on this site I described Crossover as an uncomfortable bed partner of both the Northern & the Modern scenes & I still stick by that. As for the 1968 to 1973 nonsense try having a listen to this from the Charles Bradley album 'Changes' that get's released next month. https://www.npr.org/2016/03/17/470364642/songs-we-love-charles-bradley-things-we-do-for-love

EARL WHITE JR ON EBAY
Just looked at some of your previous sales posts on here & see you have listed things for sale like Motherfox, Mind & Matter, Nightchill, Veda etc. Not doubting for one minute that these were anything other than 100% genuine but as a collector of this sort of stuff I find it very hard to believe that you failed to recognise a poor counterfeit copy of things like Al (Alonzo) Wilson, Earl White Jr, Innersection etc. I sure as hell would have spotted them a from country mile away. This might also explain why you failed to answer my question on ebay regarding the authenticity of the Al (Alonzo) Wilson.

SAS Soul Club Of Great Britain
Surprised nobody has mentioned it but SASGB stood for 'Soul Appreciation Society of Great Britain'.

SAS Soul Club Of Great Britain
Rebels was the Rock club on Dixon Lane next to Woolworths & at the top of several flights of stairs. You used to wait on the staircase as all the Rock fans staggered down on their way home. There were 2 clubs called Turn Up's in Sheffield, the other was in town on Commercial Street & Crofty & Adrian ran a few nights there sometime in the mid 80's. Josephines was a posers nightclub near the City Hall & was ran by a bloke called Dave Allen who also owns Napoleons casino. It got ran down & he sold it to Alan Senior so I can't say any more in case he sue's me for infringing his intellectual property. Not got Steve Crofts number but I can PM you Adrians if you need it but be warned as he can rabbit for England so you might be a while.

SAS Soul Club Of Great Britain
Might still have my SASGB membership somewhere Chalky. Will have a search. Remember having to use it at Turn-up's (Nether Edge) Sheffield & also Rebels. Can anyone remember the flooded dance floor at Turn-up's?

Any truth in the rumour that John Anderson has a pile of unreleased Magnetics acetates?

Ian Levine produced tracks; Your Fave
J J Barnes I've Seen The Light seems to get overlooked by most people & it's a shame as it's a bloody good record. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyQ_4dhLPPk

lifeline
Firstly Andy I'd like to point out that the Bridlington weekender has been running for 10 years this coming summer & also only clashes once a year with your events that are over 150 miles away so to blame them is surely a bit of a slow death I think. Secondly Andy none of the Bridlington promoters said anything about a clash with either you or the 100 club at all (my source? A Bridlington Weekender promoter on the phone tonight). Thirdly you may have made a comment about showing your arse in a shop window at some time but you certainly did not say it to their face when they offered your event a room at their weekender (my source again was from the horses mouth as mentioned above).

Record case 7"
Magma bags are better than any box on the market. Far easier to carry with the choice of the handles or the detachable shoulder strap. The extra detachable bag is ideal for things like headphones, middles & cartridges or if it's for the Mrs more important things like a mobile & make up https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Magma-Riot-45-Record-Sling-Bag-Large-Case-holds-up-to-150-7-inch-vinyl-records-/161877142855?hash=item25b0a12d47:g:iCQAAOSwhcJWN6Al

Real or not ? Don Gardner on the bay
Strange thing is you can still buy the album with this as a bonus single direct from Tramp records for under a 5th of the current bid price. Then again if it is real....
