  1. Well, I have both and I would say yes, both the same.
  2. I've not seen it. What was it?
  3. Let's not forget their other 45 on Carla 'Everybody's Got Some Soul / You Can't Keep A Good Man Down'.
  4. I've been doing exactly the same thing, converting my vinyl to digital format (CDs), WAV files, and the programme I use does actually up the volume automatically on the lo-fi tracks from those LPs. I've only been recording the tracks that never came out anywhere else in the UK.
  5. The Fleet All-Dayer - Fletton, Peterborough 1983. Enjoyed it so much because I learned so many new sounds that day and remember writing a list out of wanted tunes. Was with good mates and I remember buying a copy of Frank Wilson on UK Tamla Motown, still got it of course!
  6. It's not these guys is it? EDIT: Ahh, it's Syndicate Of Sound Inc. on Sound Tex from 1973...
  7. I got all the LPs but what were the 2 sevens Mal? BTW look at the price of this one... https://www.discogs.com/Various-The-Northern-Soul-Story-16/release/4009622
  8. Is the Mitch Ryder 'Roll With The Punches' the same as the Garnet Mimms track?
  9. Pacesetters Kenny & Yvonne Billy Joe Royal If still available?
  10. 'Special Reissue For England'... So not a boot then?
  11. You probably already know this (but some on here might not) but this site is very helpful... https://web.archive.org/web/20110519023955/https://45-sleeves.com/index.html
  12. Sorry Pete they don't allow sound files on here, only youtube clips, but unfortunately there are none at the moment.
  13. Just putting this out there so buyers don't pass it by when seeing it for sale. I picked this up and it's a great Northern dancer that could go down well on the scene...
  14. Tammy Wayne Chuck Jackson E G Taylor Rubies All £5 each, I'll have them if still available?
  15. Here's the boot (original sleeve though 😊)...
  16. https://whitedoowopcollector.blogspot.com/2010/09/seven-dwarfsthe-time.html
  17. I agree, but the photo I have posted up is the line-up here: 7 Dwarfs - Sharon Herr(also on Keyboards),Rick Reardon,Ronnie Keene,John Helm and Jerry Ransing and with band members Denny Groff on guitar and Charlie Evans in Percussion. The photo clearly say's Dwarfs on their promotional board. Rick Reardon was in both groups. However, the photo may or may not be the 'Stop Girl' group? I guess someone needs to find Rick 😉
  18. All I know is, Rick Reardon appeared in both groups. See bottom credits on Ambassadors 'B' side for vocals... 7 Dwarfs - Sharon Herr(also on Keyboards),Rick Reardon,Ronnie Keene,John Helm and Jerry Ransing and with band members Denny Groff on guitar and Charlie Evans in Percussion. Ambassadors - Bill Parmer (bass), Bobby Bitts. (drummer), Bob Weaver and Mike Sultzbach (sax), Tony Purcell (trumpet), Don Hodgen & Rick Reardon (vocals), Burton (piano), Eric Spitzer (guitar).
  19. And here they are.... There was a discussion on here about these and The Ambassadors on Pee Vee, one or 2 members were in both groups at one time or another, the main one being Rick Reardon. Some info here, sax player for Ambassadors say's they were the Seven Dwarfs... https://soulstrutter.blogspot.com/search/label/Ambassadors
  20. He sounds blue-eyed, especially on the Eastern 45?
  21. There was a discussion previously in this thread. Bob Wilson was pianist with the San Remo Strings, in fact I'm sure it was his group. Here he is, photo from 1966
