  7. Hi Chris Hope you well. Think before you and Shifty found them was possibly about 5 known copies in the UK. Rod Shard and Alex Jones found 3 mint copies I think was very early 9ts (Alex kept one, Butch had one I think and I got one). I remember talking to someone about it at possibly the first cleethorpes and Andy Davies was stood next to us and said he had a copy that he had from the Bowl a few years earlier so that was the four I knew about at the time. Think Tim Brown got one a few years later. Agree its a great little tune that has taken a while to eventually take off and I'm glad to see that it's going for this sort of cash. Take it easy Cheers Phil

  18. Nice record. Also came out on a red born label which is what i have it on. Got a good few years ago possably off soul sam. Sorry not for sale. Before I got that copy my mate Skelly lent me his copy to play out in early 90's. That wasn't water damaged but there was lots of spelling mistakes in the typing. Try Alex Jones I think he had a blue one for sale. alex.allamerican@lineone.net Cheers phil
  19. Hi I got the Robert Tanner early 90's on a trip to states. Came from Lew Stanley. Sort of semi interesting tale associated with it. Was over with Alex Jones and the hire car was playing up. So Alex dropped me off at Lew's then went to get car sorted. I had the cheap Temptones on arctic - Lew wanted it and offered me Robert Tanner. Deal done before Alex got back! - but he did get some great tunes as well. Sam and a few others did try and get it out of me before they secured copies a couple of years later. Couple of others for the list Soul Bros Inc- Salem Minors-Lonely Boy Chuck Vallent and the Prophets - Damon Acetate Sophisticates - Underground Sounds Some of Alex Jones cover-ups - Plays one called "Hangin on In" great Tune and many more. Cheers Phil
  20. my copy of out of sights has N.Parker in run out groove. Think it was Keb's copy that Nigel Parker then had and sold via Rod. Also had a couple of records off Mick Atherton (Skelly) that had Steve Vickers little quip on them something along the lines of "steves top pop pick" or similar - not got them now but one was connie questell on decca. cheers phil
