  1. Oh yes it's 1000% her, play the uptempo flip just added too, unmistakeable
  2. And here's the uptempo flip, you'll recognize the backing as used on a couple of other Forte releases but she takes it by the scruff of the neck and by a minute in is just letting loose. The photos are from her very last ever show, the 2nd time we were lucky enough to put her on stage - Dig Deeper on New Year's Eve 2010, and yes that's Billy Prince of the Precisions dueting with her, beyond great. Marva unissued2.mp4
  3. Reposting as saw people cannot open the links to my FB page, here's one side of the unissued Marva acetate, the backing track is an earlier and far better version of a later song she did but this is the real deal Marva unissued.mp4
  4. https://www.facebook.com/100004575060757/videos/817307098431785 https://www.facebook.com/100004575060757/videos/pcb.1517654951730326/1517654415063713
  5. Even though Marva's last show ever was for us in NYC (she was amazing) still bow to Connie's version of Ball of Fire, her audible breathing even as she accentuates is beyond special. That said, think Marva's best recording is an unissued acetate that lucky enough to own, one side uses an uptempo Forte backing track, both are off the hook, if ever get round to doing issues it's on the list.
  6. One here, let a friend know it existed and he lucked out from a late night posting too, it's definitely Eddie's hardest
  7. He won’t sell it, was pretty excited to get it and gave up something +++. Try the SD peeps, it’s from there after all, Mark Garcia or Mike Umholtz
  8. Took a clean copy to 2 consecutive Austin Record Fairs, everyone skipped right by it until traded to a person who ironically see all the time here on the East Coast.
  9. Super clean Ercel Brown and Wesley Paige here, you won't find Ercel anyhere else, you also don't specify which Heti, she has 2 on that label, just sent a clean copy of each to the UK.
  10. Super strong copy of an elusive gem, one just ended on John's auction most of you'll have seen, $750 & post from NYC
  11. Only 2 documented copies of Willie Smith and both live in NYC, the 2nd one has the best history as it originally belonged to Mad Mike, then ended up with the compiler of all the BFTG garage series, the other used to be with Finewine.
  12. There's 2 by Heti Lloyd on Shonda, one is rarer than the other, both are here and also she's the photo behind my record deck on the videos on my FB page.
  13. Adding to your 2 in the flesh Chalky, as mentioned right above I've had 2 here, one a million years back and kept, other added and then traded to a local GA collector 4/5 years ago, when got the first it was ungoogleable and the uptempo side was a playbox staple every time went over to Europe, have grown fond of the classy flip too
  14. LA, see it every few years, friend had trouble selling a spare, decent loud flip but a bit annoying
