there is no rule, unwritten or other regarding ebay auctions, live or otherwise. It might upset one or two but people are free to discuss what they want.

Back on topic, yes Richie I was aware of it, seen mentions of it in the past, on here and elsewhere.

Not sure I should say so or not, but I can vouch for this seller as I've had a good few 45's from him in the last 6 months or so, although nothing quite this pricey I must admit!

He sold a nice condition Kline a few months back and a recent Harvey Averne Dozen (Never learned to Dance) went silly money a few weeks back, but great tune, so there are a few rare ones come up odd Sunday evenings.

I learned recently he used to live in my home town 20 odd years ago here in this very green and pleasant land, before shipping out to the US.

I think there's a write up on this on the last Kent Classiest Rarities cd, decided to name the label Paramount then got some legal hassle so changed the name.

Yeah, test pressings on Paramount before they worked out there was a slightly bigger Paramount operation a few miles down the road.

I'll find out if this is the copy we scanned.

Well the Paramount was an aberration Alan and the others may have partly been to sell at Jesse's shows, he's primarily a live entertainer so it could have been a re-press when the other run was finished.

I think it was considered commercial, it was aimed at Dean Martin originally.

As per the interview I did in Manifesto... yes it was written for said crooner. Personally I love the track, always have. Surprised nobody's picked up on his film scores, particularly the theme from Benji. Now thats the dogs bollox
