January 9, 200619 yr Pat & the blenders.........quite like the record, but way over the top IMO seems to be a steady supply of copys.
January 9, 200619 yr My choice would be Willi J & Co - Boogie with your baby - KiKi must be 100s in blackpool alone , everybody bought one . Steve Mc
January 9, 200619 yr Charles Sheffield....according to Robert Solly, an excello collector(and owner of every excello recording ever made).."A not particularly rare excello record"...you should be able to pick one up easily enough for about £20 still waiting patiently
January 9, 200619 yr Dottie and millie talkin about my baby ,I always liked the other side better a good £5 record about six years ago

January 9, 200619 yr I noticed that utter shoite Gerri Halliwell soundalike bilge by Frank Popp (Hip Teens) going for stupid money on ebay the other night. What the hell is that all about? Whatever it ended up as (it was £60+ when I saw it) has got to make it the most overpriced record at the mo. Jordi
January 9, 200619 yr Dottie and millie talkin about my baby ,I always liked the other side better a good £5 record about six years ago It was a £10.00 record i started playing it at the AQUARIUS Hendsford about 4 years ago within 3 months dave rimmer played it at the 100 club it went from £10.00 to £100.00 then within 6 months £250.00 dont know why its not rare HB

He said He'd think about it. Couple of nighters later he wanted £150. Gone right off it now. I think it's twee. I blame Rachel. Seems to be plenty of copies of Kel Osborne floating about, so I'm wondering if £500 is perhaps a bit steep?

January 9, 200619 yr For me has to be "I just kept on dancing" our Doug........not whether you like it or not ATB Stevie It's a must have now, so price is dictated by the rush to own, simple so if it's hot fraid so is the price. The strange thing is even after the gold rush, it never seems to come back down to previous level, JM rubber stamps the hot price and that's what we end up with, rarity has nothin' to do with it.
January 9, 200619 yr Whitch Kel Osborne....? HB Quicksand. I know your copy's reasonably priced Nige. But £500+ for a mint copy if it ain't that rare, well just seemed a little steep was all.
January 9, 200619 yr Quicksand. I know your copy's reasonably priced Nige. But £500+ for a mint copy if it ain't that rare, well just seemed a little steep was all. To much money great record but there are better records for £500 Small Things better record and much rarer HB
January 10, 200619 yr Have it myself and love it but still a bit surprised about what Roger Hatcher fetches atm ?? Plenty of copys and not that much on playlists what I have seen ??
January 10, 200619 yr Johnnie Mae Matthews ''I have no choice''there is a LOT of these and what is the price now, about £600-700 for VG+ ?mind you,not seen many EX or better ???
January 10, 200619 yr Bill Bush, The Oxford Knights, George Smith...... Has to be the Oxford Knights as Gene has said. Has come down a lot but just how many copies have turned up in the last 12 months.
January 10, 200619 yr Neck and neck between Dottie And Millie and "Deep Dark Secret", I'd say... I remember when you used to have to beat copies of Dottie & Millie off with a shitty stick. Mind you, you still have to now, onlyyou're beating them off at £200 a time . All the best, Nick

Hope you, Dawn and the family are well - hope to see you soon. Gene
January 10, 200619 yr Isn't Terry Callier a bit pricey, considering the label, I mean it can't be that rare. I bought mine for a few pounds in the 80s, and swapped it and another record I can't even remember in the 90s with a Mr Tony Smith for Jimmy 'Soul' Clark "I'll be your champion", which costs less now than Terry Callier.
January 10, 200619 yr My choice would be Willi J & Co - Boogie with your baby - KiKi must be 100s in blackpool alone , everybody bought one . Steve Mc What s the today rate of this then ? Marc

January 10, 200619 yr What s the today rate of this then ? Marc £50-£100. Wrighty has just told me he's seen a few go through ebay at $50 recently. Hardly over priced, especially when you concider that it is arguably one of the best records ever made and is in demand all over the world by all sorts of DJs.

January 10, 200619 yr For me has to be "I just kept on dancing" our Doug........not whether you like it or not ATB Stevie There are literally tons of way over priced records around, but I'll nominate The Majestics on Linda. I've had two of these in the last 12 months and there doesn't seem to be more than a week or so go by without another one appearing (always seems to fetch very high prices ranging between £250 and £500 depending on pink or orange/yellow. Tons of others though ...
January 10, 200619 yr but I'll nominate The Majestics on Linda. Thought it was hilarious that it was listed on Ebay with a $299 kick off and went through twice with no bids. Lowers the starting price and then it makes almost $500!?!?!? Idiots!

Idiots! Have seen that happen a few times with things on ebay! Amazing how many senseless people there are on there!
January 10, 200619 yr Author Have seen that happen a few times with things on ebay! Amazing how many senseless people there are on there! Hi,Hope I win Doug .Just put a bid on $3000 should do it
January 10, 200619 yr Pat & the blenders.........quite like the record, but way over the top IMO seems to be a steady supply of copys. Got to aggree with Baz on this one, sold a ex copy three years ago for £40, thinking I could replace with a nicer copy, muck fee all of a sudden £250! howd that happen? Mark. l
January 14, 200619 yr records like the voice masters on bamboo seem out of context to me, all three releases how- masqueraders £1000??? not telling how many of these come through customs with me once oxford nights - on DJBEANS freddie hymes on vegas las or similar exits rocky gil joe jama
