Lionelonthevinyl
Seen both of these on e-bay with copied labels on them ( advertised as non originals )..is this a normal thing? Can guarantee people will buy these and dj with them as originals, and most people would be none the wiser without knowledge/studying them...both from the same seller...annoying to me, what do you guys think?..Rob Edited May 30, 2014 by Lionelonthevinyl Link to comment Social source share
Pete S
Bit sad really - fine to play at home, or the local handbag night even, but more than that, no... Link to comment Social source share

Modernsoulsucks
Just a thought. Where is he getting "old records" from if he has sold multiple copies of some. Old boots aren't that easy to get ? ROd Link to comment Social source share
purist
I'm sure the seller thanks you for all the extra publicity for their sales..... Link to comment Social source share

Pete S
surely they're carvers? Don't think so John, I think they're old bootlegs. Holly St James (Soul Fox), Jeanette Harper (Bee) etc. I"m trying to think of a Larry Clinton pressing though.. Link to comment Social source share
Pete S
Talking of lookalikes, what about this one? Actually pressed as this.. Link to comment Social source share

Mellorful
I suspect Pete is right with the seller having access to originals; with modern technology, a very good scanner printer and away you go with lookalike labels stuck on reissues. Link to comment Social source share
Modernsoulsucks
surely they're carvers? Yes I was thinking that too. More reliable than picking up the boots/re-issues. I'd guess that most prospective buyers wouldn't be on here so not really a plug for his ads and if it stops the odd person reading this bidding up to £50 + then probably worthwhile highlighting ? And don't forget the other seller with his double-sided 45s starting mostly at £19.99 ROD Link to comment Social source share

Mach
yes i agree Pete they are defo carvers, but them other ones have the same B sides as Goldmine 7S Link to comment Social source share
