Possibly the worse record I ever heard.

Trick Me Treat Me, can't remember who by, neither do I want to know, a nightmare of a song.

YVONNE DANIELS - I JUST CANT GET AWAY FROM YOUR LOVE - STERLING

INTERNATIONAL GTO'S - I LOVE MY BABY - ROJAC

Al Wilson "Passport"

G. Knight "Ain't No Sun..."

Robert Knight "Branded"

Total Eclipse "Six O' Clock"

Outsiders "Lonely Man"

Magnificent Men "Just Walk In My Shoes"

Mr Blow "Land Of A 1000 Dances"

A few LP Tracks to be going on with.

It's Mr Bloe and Branded was LP only (last track on LP) so if you had album, you could as someone did, remove all other tracks. Ask Paul Downing!!!!

Very rare record Carl Fortnim played it at Skeggy some three years ago

Heard Carl wiilingham play this a few years ago, first time i'd heard it since Wigan.

'Twas indeed a massive record, till it got pressed & was played out very fast, went as quickly as it came, like a lot of em.

Ellingtons, Destined To Become A loser was the very same, big for about a few months then gon just as fast.

No real quality?

Not like some great Casino records we all know like...

Voices Of East Harlem, Cashin In.

Patti Austin, Given All My Love.

Real quality, like M&S Northern Soul :-)

..or what about Julius Wechter and The Baja Marimba Band 'Along Comes Mary'? That's one that by rights, shouldn't be any good but still manages to be utterly fantastic.

Susan Coleman - The Age Of The Wolf

Newbeats - Crying My Heart Out

Blanche Carter - Halo's Are For Angels

Brainstorm - Loving Is Really My Game

Is it just me or shouldn't a number of these stay forgotten.........

Okay its just me :D

Seriously though, not all of these were actual monsters at the Casino were they? I was thinking more of things played constantly and rinsed but not since, there probably actually can't be too many, other than some of Searlings big rarities at the end, and most of these have now turned up, often with Butch admittedly!

Earnestine Eadie on Phil LA for years had that mantra, Dee Dee Gartrell c/u, for 15 years wondered where that was, and then on it comes. Sultry, sensual and then demaninding. A thing of beauty that still takes me back to a semi empty dance floor, but filled with enthusiasm of us young pups. Mr Whitson arms extended spinning fast, Mr Law doing his dervish on the dance floor, and me gently easing round and round, in the days I did that, ungracefully but with intent!

Still one of the greatest records ever. It has a different artist on top side hasn't it? Often wondered if pre internet that kept it hidden, but its not really turned up yet has it!

Way before my time - but I thought the thread was 'FORGOTTEN oldies from Wigan days' - 90% of these are super-well known today (not to mention many significantly pre-dating Wigan as well) - what's the point of just reeling off lists of well known oldies?

Surely we're talking Night Train/Bobby Hill 'To The Bitter End', Dalton James and Sutton 'Run Baby', Little Lisa 'Hang On Bill', Mitchell Braithwaite 'You've Been A Long Time Coming', Ted Wilson 'I Can't Take Any More' or the Feathers 'Trying to Get to You' etc etc?????
