Just seen a playlist with more than a couple of pre Wigan sounds. Just wondered on a snowy afternoon for a bit of light relief, are that any more sounds played before Wigan that are still doing the biz up and down ?..or some personal faves that you don't hear out but think deserve an airing...

I;ll start with a few

Alice Clark You hit me..........

Herb Johnson I'm so Glad

Valentines  Breakaway

Puzzles  My Sweet Baby

James Bounty Prove yourself a Lady

Lets see what we got folks.....

Heres a mouldy oldie, quite forgotten id guess but this was quite a big record for 5 minutes id guess about a year before wigan, who can remember Levine raving about this in fact one time i can remember him calling himself Ian[DamitaJo]Levine in a club ad, which i have to admit gave me more than a little concern at the time........

Carstairs He who picks a rose

Autographs  I can do it

Do people over there limit themselves to listening rather than taking to the floor then? I think a lot of the Torch era stuff is very fast, so while I'm not excessively portly, I do get knackered when taking on something like the Van Dykes Save My Love For A Rainy Day, and that's just in my living room. What a great record though!

I played this tonight first time out in Norwich, charity all dayer i was in the small room. First time i played this it got a crack on the run out (quite a bad crack actually) The springers - nothings too good for a baby - on wale, it cleared the floor, i couldnt believe it, i take it this is an old wigan track i never heard it out played. cheers billy

One of those mega rarities too, I think Billy. Did you find it in the same place as Donna King? :-)
