Hello everyone.

I am sorry to trouble you all with this, but I really hope someone can help. Would you mind please keeping an eye out for a box of records that I left in a taxi on Sunday evening in Sheffield? I am currently waiting to see if anyone hands them in to the police, but if you are offered a blue and silver box of about 80 rare soul 7” 45s, they could well be mine.

Included are titles such as Willie Pickett – On The Stage Of Life and The Hytones – Bigger And Better.

These are part of a collection I have been putting together for about 50 years and I am desperate to get them back. If you want more details I can supply them.

Posted to their forum. So many companies. Tried the major ones, but nothing yet. It was a random flag-down so no idea which. 😞

John, give Sheffield Council a ring and ask for a list of cab companies and then email them all in one go. They will have have had to book the pick up so time will help and where from and to

I looked at Discogs this morning and had another idea.

If you are a member or join, then you can add the records that are missing to a "wants" list and see if a seller lists them for sale, assuming they don't return.

You can do a similar thing on Evilbay I would guess

John any update mate 🤔 trouble is even a taxi driver can pull a couple of records outtta box and search on the net = ££££ they give a f@&k easy cash 

Saw on facebook that he managed to track the cab company down and the records are safely back with him 🎉😊

Hi Col, yes, dead chuffed, but not actually got them back yet. I know where they are and am waiting on them being dropped off. Christmas has had its ups and downs this year. 😃
