Other goodies are "I'll do anything" same as Lee McDonald and "good things don't last forever" but whole album is good, 1974 Roulette, shouldn't be too difficult to pick up.

Very Dramatics/Tavares. Horrible to contemplate but I'm surprised it wasn't covered by Take That.

Yep. I hear stuff I've not heard before most weeks. There's always a surprise. Had one today in fact.

Can I say snap to that Ian, after looking up "Billy Young - Burning Up" (Below) for this thread I came across a disco version I had never heard. Mind you I posted on another thread, LP only Northern Tracks "Real and Realy For Real - Tribe" and Mr Benson pointed out to me that it had been released on 45, so you learn something new everyday too.

This is a great quality 70's soul record.  Reminds me a little of Douglas and Lonero!

It is a pity it's only on LP and not a single 45rpm.

The original LP from 1975 is very hard to get now, but it has been reissued on a Look-a-Like L.P.

"IF ONLY I COULD PROVE TO YOU"

How about this been released a couple of times by different artists but for me this is a phenomenal dancer right up my street....

Vessie Simmons - Shiftless, Shady (Simco 1002) 1973

LP only Van McCoy magic.  Sadly this youtube rip comes nowhere near the sonic joy of listening to the fabulous production of the actual LP.
