just being curious but nearly every record i look for on ebay usually has a bid on it from this person

no axe to grinde but does anyone know who he is??he must have a big wallet and possibly a big collection of records ,or maybe he does'nt win many...must check his wins eh :(

Go to your Ebay summary , on the left is 'search for items' ,go to search by bidder .

It's someone bidding on behalf of one of the country's top dealers. Work it out.

:huh:  True. Thing is, if you 'shadow' him, 'cos of the dealer thing, they don't always go to top dollar on stuff, as a profit has to be made. So.... SNIPE HIM!! :unsure:

Funny that, Quite a few recently Including a couple currently I have seen activity from this ebayer.

All's fair and all that, but I was begining to wonder. :huh:

Seen a couple of current live ebay auctions that I thought that I had the good fortune to stumble upon

and there is already a bid from them. :(

Put it this way, he/she bids on the records as soon as they come on ebay so he is then obviously watching them in his ebay, if no one else bids he/she wins the records bloody cheap, it is nice too see that person bidding on a record you got your eye on as like a few others have said he/she has great taste.

That's true.

It's always amused me how he bids so early.

I've beat him on several things at the last drop of the hammer!

He's one of 3-4 multi-bidders that are well worth watching!

I have to say, I've seen that username on ebay but generally not noticed it much because they win very few records. If you just search items they won, it's a relatively small number... The users I get frustrated over are the ones that consistently outbid me. I was just shocked to see how many thing this person actually bid on when I searched, I've never seen such a "serious" ebayer not snipe.

To his credit he recently alerted me to a boot I was bidding on, me not knowing it was a boot (presume he was being genuine, no reason to think any other)

I once bid and won a record only to find out it was toby, I was alerted to this when he rang me to tell me, half and hour after the auction had finished, I had just bought a record off him and would bring the record the following week when I saw him......................it was a nice cheapie and he wavered the £3 for the reocrd as well as the postage, hence his feedback was very good, what else can you leave a seller for a free record, would of saved him the ebay fees had I known he was selling it laugh.gif:wicked::wicked:

Because some people track what you are bidding on and sometimes snipe you if they are after it as well. For instance you may have spotted something they haven't because it was mispelt or listed for the flip

Bidnappers "Shadow" tool is the best way I have found to track multiple bidders. Takes all the hard work out of it!
