I've decided to cancel all future events at Jack's due to an unexpected increase in the rent and a decrease in the hours at the last one. I should have notified everyone well before now but Kent's 25th celebrations just took over eveything. My apologies for the very late notice.
Now we are back at the 100 Club it seems people much prefer going to those dances rather than the ones at Jack's. I'd like to thank Johnny Gamlin for coming to our rescue earlier in the yea

Latest 6ts News inc 18 Aug Event and Anniversary Ticket News Irish Pip belatedly added to Jack's 6TS nighter due to malfunctioning of promoter. The DJing sensation of the last Cleethorpes weekender (no pressure there then Pip!) has just reminded me I booked him for next Saturday (18th Aug) nighter at Jack's and like the weevil I am, forgot to put him on the flyer. He's trecking across the sea so this article should put that right and emphasise what a stunning line up of DJs it will be. Butch,

Johnny G, Jack's manager, just rang me to say there were rumours at Stoke this weekend that the next Jack's nighter had been cancelled. Not at all, it's never been in doubt.

Hello fellow soulies.
The Corn market hall kicked off at 7.30 on Saturday the 21st of April with Steve Towers playing a subtle mix of old and new.
After a quiet start the place began to fill up a bit, but there were a lot of faces missing. We clashed with an annual commemorative do in Market Harborough which was a bit of a shame. And it looks like we’ve done it again in June and clashed with Rugby, (sorry to Karl and other organisers). Though numbers were down (even Bob Barr
Hot news from the 6TS nerve centre. Unfortunately due to illness Kell Osborne isn't well enough to travel. However we have the stunning girl soul group The Apollas as replacements and they will be regaling us with the stomping sounds of You're Absolutely Right, Sorry Mama, Just Can't Get Enough and the Northern classic Mr Creator. HB Barnum needs no introduction and we are very fortunate to get a musician of his calibre to come over and give a very rare live vocal performance when he is so bu

We are interested in coming back to UK for a two or more month tour. We were in London in 2004 and performed at Cleethorphes at the 100club for the CD release and 6t weekender. We didn't realize that we had so many fans until we signed autographs for two hours after our performance and there was still a room full of fans we couldn't get too and they still had original albums and 45's.
What we are looking for is an agency or promoter who can handle the arrangements, bookings, perform

In April 2002 Chris and Barry started the soul night at Pilsley. The music emphasis at this time was Northern oldies (Chris' influence) and Classic Motown (Influenced by Barry) Both brothers having a life long love of soul music but experiencing different venues at different times: shaping their own particular taste. As time has gone on we have rarely seen a bad night at Pilsley, even when other venues have come along and their nights have 'clashed' with ours, the numbers have generally remained
