Guest allnightandy
Back in 75/76 Dave Withers found about 6 mint copies of Lenny Curtis in a junk shop in Ashton under Lyne I think he sold them for £40 each Quite pricey back then LoL Link to comment Social source share
Pete S
That was very pricey. I sold it in 1981 at the Vic for £5 - to harpo I think. Or Martyn Smith. Bought it for £5, sold it for £5. Link to comment Social source share

Dave Pinch
i remember ron pedley telling me he bought his in 1976.. the guy selling had several copies in varying degres of condition between £5 for beat up and £12 for clean...ron paid £8 i think Link to comment Social source share
Pete S
Have you got any left ? for the same money ! No but it just shows what little value originals which had been pressed had back then. Don't think I"ve had a Lenny Curtis for a good ten years now, it was £300 last time I sold one. Link to comment Social source share

Pete S
Was thinking, I could count the times I heard this At WIgan as a 'top sound' on one hand. Pep played it a couple of times. It was always a minor spin, good as it was. Link to comment Social source share
Carlf
Quite a rare boot these days. I've actually got a minter that I'm going to put up for sale at £50. VG+ copies go for about 20-30 so I think that is fair. Sound quality is good. Just recorded slightly lower than the original. Carlf
Well, you just don't see it for sale at the venues, so I was just using ebay as a guide really. Link to comment Social source share

Try it but I honestly don't think you'll get anywhere near that for it, but you never know with ebay. I sell it set sale for £10 still, the blue reissue knocked the price of the white one back down again, I was getting £15 - £20 three or four years ago. That's my experience anyway.
