I found out today my very best friend Nige Shaw(Heavenly Blocked) is in Hospital!

He's be ing monitored for severe chess pains and has fluid on his lungs

Hes is ok at the moment and doing as hes told!

A lot of you know Nige personaly or through Soul Source hes known on the Scene all over!

If you would like to express your good wishes to him through this post i will make sure he knows you are thinking of him

I hope like me you wish him the quickest of recoveries and hope to see him back on the scene ASAP

Such terrible news, i can only imagen what Niges family Lindsy and Nige B are going through, my deepest condolances to you all.

I've not known Nige long met him through Gill, Becky and Karen, but he always had a smile on his face and joking about, Will always remember him playing tunes like Buddy Smith and Johnnie Mae Mathews.

Just walkd thru the door full of the joys of a late 2-0 win.....phone was ringing....Dave Rivers gave me the news.....I can't believe it Nige.

Am at a loss as to what to say. You gave a superb account of your taste and your ove of the music at the 100 Club not too long back mate and it is for that, your love of the scene and all you contrributed that I will remember always.

Not many months ago, Nige put me on to a tune - "Get it while it's cheap mate" was his tip. So I did. I paid a tenner for the record that I will play at Bury tomorrow night in your honour my friend. I always end Bury with a ballad - tomorrow will be different but with a very special meaning.

Here's to you Nige and I look forward to seeing you in the best attended niter that God can offer. Sleep tight mate.............

this is a painful post to write..many of you know that me and nige werent on the best of terms and i have sent my good wishes privately through nige brown...i feel so bad for his family...his mum and dad maureen and monty...his sisters nettie linda and christine...his children leon and lisa ...and of course his son dominique who passed away at a young age...they are now re united...look after him dom...his grandsons thomas and callum.....a sad loss ...the soul scene will be a quieter shirt one from now on....
