I see Amazon themselves have already pulled the plug on it as more complaints just like the last one!!! 

 

There is another about it, I've had 3 sets from Amazon sent them all back, same fault in all 3 boxes, Contours jumps and M.Gaye warped like a Vulcans tab.

shame cuz the quality of the records is superb ...

I was fortunate to get the first set in London in December and got it back to the States and no issues with any of the records.

 

I thought they had it sorted this time.

 

Pity.

My copy of marvin Gaye / 4 tops was badly warped but after a couple of emails to universal I got a free replacement,even though I bought the set from amazon,  

so I happy with my set

No issues with mine and the set is worth the price for The Isleys disc alone. What a stormer.

You could leave it in mint unopened condition, and then be bitterly disappointed in five years time, or open it now and send it back because some of the singles are unplayable !

1st set volume 1 ok, 2nd set volume 2 ok apart from 2 tracks being very slightly dished, all play superb

Played mine today, absolutely fantastic, I really hope they keep producing these sets as I'll buy every one.

 

However, I'm still p*ssed off about the 2000 limited edition that turned into an unlimited edition, and I'm somewhat cynical about the second box set turning up numbered and stating limited edition when there is no indication of what the limit of the edition is.

 

But in terms of the quality of the music turning up on 45 they are exceptional.

Mine arrived today. A few of the discs don't lay perfectly flat but all of them play through and sound fine

so I'm happy with my set.

Well, I'm extremely happy with mine! More due to the fact that it cost me nothing!!!

I ordered it from Amazon for £42 and duly paid with my credit card, a few days later I got an e-mail saying that it had been cancelled and no charge has been made to my card. Imagine my surprise when the postman brought me one around! Still no charge on my card and Amazon account still says cancelled?? Bizarre.

 

Unfortunately, when I  saw it had been cancelled I ordered another set from a different company but same price This has now turned up and payment taken which leaves me with a spare unopened set. 

Was thinking I might sell the unopened/sealed set on here for £35 post free.  Any takers? 

Had 4 messages regarding the spare box set.

Hi everybody just a quick question opinion on how to store this box set. Would it be better to take them out of the box and store them upright in record box or leave them in original box flat down? Thanks

However track choices seem a bit lacklustre.

Three tracks I think I have on orig vinyl albeit not 45s.

And much better tracks surely available.

I'd like to see Monitors "Crying in the night" for one.

And double-sided Kim Weston "Fancy meeting you here/Just call me."

Quite agree Rod, haven't even bothered with this set.
