Narrow down the initial 10,000 tunes to, say, half of that in the first round of voting and then get everyone to vote again based on the remainder and repeat.

Keep doing that and you'll have the will of the people - and find you've got the "Move on up" track listing!

Could do 3 cd's.One Northern,one RnB,one crossover / modern.

Or do one with northern and Rnb on then the second with modern and a third one with crossover on..!

Surely that would be the 8 before 3...........

Think Pete Smith compiled a list of top faves from people on here a couple of years or so back can't we start with that.

I guess you`ll find out many of them are already featured on those dreaded Oldies CDs.

Have you a link to that please?

I'll watch this with great anticipation......let the blood bath begin

Can't wait for Pete's comments on some of the tunes suggested :wicked:

My first helpful suggestion would be "none top 500 tunes"

Cheers

We couldn't get half the people on this site to nominate artists into the hall of fame, so I can't see us getting anywhere trying to compile a cd!
