Just thought I'd throw this up and see if it generates any interest:
In the various collections I've put together over the years I always seem to have built smaller collections within them. Some examples are: I collect Motown Mini LPs and am striving to complete them. Another example is I collect W/Demos of 45s wherever applicable. (I once had Larry Clinton Issue and Demo in my hands, knew exactly which one was rarer, but opted for the Demo!). I also collect Ollie McLaughlin's records, (on W/Demos where applicable).
My question is this...have you any collections within your collection that you're always on the look at for stuff to add to. One advantage of these 'smaller' collections is that when there's nothing to buy at a record fair or similar , I always look for somethibg for these mini collections. It means I very rarely leave a show without SOMETHING.
