  1. Unfortunately, it looks like the boot. As well as the runout, the label is a paler shade of yellow and the text font is bolder. You can find both on Discogs to compare and a quick Google search of Milton Wright Satiron will bring up a previous Soul Source discussion on this topic. Sorry.
  2. Impressive set and equally impressed to see Betty Fikes in there; ballsy move, hope it went down as well as it deserves!
  3. No problem with the box set but playing out would need to be OVO
  4. Surely some planning is required otherwise what records do you take with you?
  5. I would opt for 3 LP only tracks: Tempests - Someday Magnificent Men - Keep On Climbing Hesitations - That’s What Love Is
  6. Linda Jones all day long. You mention both; assume you refer to My Heart... and Just Can’t..., if you haven’t already, check out the Hypnotyzed Loma album for her superior version of A Last Minute Miracle (maybe a future battle with that one) and the fantastic If Only We Had Met Sooner plus the alternative version on her first Turbo album
  7. Edwin by a country mile, my all time favourite. Met him on numerous occasions and DJ’d at some of his live performances, lovely man and what a voice! No contest!
  8. That’s great to hear! Looking forward to reading what else is enjoying a resurgence!
  9. Mine, definitely styrene. Surprised by this topic as was played a lot; probably due to the fact that it is simply brilliant! It’s always such a buzz hearing tunes of this quality for the first time! Hope there’s more to come
  10. Trumpet + lyrics could be Betty Lavette "I'm Just A Fool For You"
  11. The melody description sounds like Gerri Shivers "Let's Try It Again" but not the trumpet or lyrics
  12. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003UQDFBC/ref=dm_ws_sp_ps_dp Good luck!
  13. It was Bretby 1st Anniversary, I still have it... https://www.discogs.com/Various-Bretbys-1st-Anniversary/release/5014660
  14. On the same album, check out "I Don't Want To Lose Her" too... sublimely stunning!
