my friend talked to them last year, they totally refused to license their track because they said they were doing a new blues version of it and thought it would somehow interfere with that. group is from new haven CT.

I dont have a sister, but I think there's a naked one of Dave somewhere, its when he had the beard & I could photo shop out his tackle, I'm NOT happy about sharing it, but ho hum, for the Hopkins Brothers I would be prepared to make that sacrifice. .

To conclude the story of this piece of plastic. I mentioned it to a DJ at the 100 Club on Saturday, he immediately offered a very good price, more than I'd been warned to expect it would go for, and as I know he's a straight dealing kind of kid I said yes. I had been planning to put it up for offers on here but he who seizes the moment etc.

The truly amazing thing was I found it the next day, actually filed and it was minto plus. It's gone to a good home and will get played out plenty so it's to everyone's advantage. I can't say who it was but it might get some chianti spilt on it this weekend.

yeah i got mine on ebay early 2009, pretty sure andy d would have had his for years right chalky? butch got one a week or so after mine, badly listed so a fair bit cheaper if i remember rightly

that makes sense as I first heard butch play it at Bamberg Soulshakers May 2009...it was my tune of the whole weekender (for me). Been after one ever since. no cuck, vey hard to locate indeed I would say.

So three copies in the hands of Lifeline DJ`s now plus yours Ian (bring it with you in November pleeeze ) and teh one Nev mentioned.

Hi Ian ,can't remember exactly ,but i found it in New York probabbly around 15 years ago,the down beat side knocked me sideways as it still does - the uptempo side wouldn't have worked with what i was doing at the time ...

It's fair to say people must'vs had it prior to that.
