I'm looking to buy a record from Soundfinder in Japan, anyone had any dealings from them or any others dealers over there.

Yes I bought a big want from Japan. Record in perfect order. AND it only took 3 working days to get here. Incredible!

I buy from Japanese dealers on the usual selling sites, and also from a couple of the shops every couple of months.

To date always smooth transactions, and the records are always exactly as described condition wise.

Flynny (Anorak Corner) provides an excellent service from Tokyo, and the courier service he uses is phenomenal.

Had lots off eBay from Japan and sold to Japan as well. Never a problem.

Agreed- I got a record from him last Xmas and it arrived within a week. 

yep again from flynny more than once and always less than week....and less than some royal mail!

I've had records and DVDs from Japan and always been excellent service, great communication and usually arrived within a week.

Some U.S./UK sellers could learn a thing or two from them.

I can only echoe what's been said. Always great condition,, fast postal service and always excellent packaging.

Ive also bought tons from Japan,  I have to say they are all great guys over there, and when it comes to condition, every 45 I've ever bought has been very minty... fast quality service...is std in Japan pretty much I think..

Can only echo what has been said above...the chances of being ripped off by someone based here is low...it is simply not within the culture to do something so low! EMS couriers is an exclusive Japan Post service...never a problem. Just one thing to note - the Soundfinder site lists stock from other shops...and not all the actual shops can communicate clearly in English or may not even send abroad due to communication and/or preferred payment options.

Never had a problem with Anoraks Corner - he brings the records round personally every Christmas...only trouble is he takes them back with him after a cuppa! Evening Son!

Just had a rocksteady  45 arrive this morning from Japan , have had several over time , all been fine , usually take about a week to arrive , postage usually between 6 - 7 quid , can recommend Ninja Records for 60,s and 70s  blubeat , ska, early reggae etc .

I can only say from experience,buy records from Japan is the most satisfying experience I've ever incounted in all the years I've been collecting,that's grading and speed of delivery,that puts how're postal service to shame. Johno

As a mint crazy collector I've never been deceived when buying from japanese guys.

Have to echo earlier comments, have bought from Flynny - excellent service and very fast shipping.
