The seller is a complete twat and con merchant, he knows that the record is a fake and he has taken a name which is very close to that of a very reputable dealer. All designed to con someone out of a

  • Hi, I am really annoyed with this guy on Ebay selling this boot of timi yuro! i messaged him last night to inform him he has caused a bit of a debate regarding  his record sale on ebay, that basically

There is a simple solution to this.

Bid it up to an outrageous amount and then not pay the twat. I am prepared to take a non payment strike just to get theses tossers off Ebay.

I am going to set my sniper to drop a £5000.00 bid on it an hour before it ends, anyone want to top it for a laugh?

I have done it before and it seems to work

Would this not have insured postage on it aswell?

I changed my mind have have submitted a bid for £1500. I promise that if anyone outbids me I will top it.

Come on lets really wind these bastards up!

What sort of 20-year-old says 'one can download...' ;)

You really have to question the sanity of some people although having said that most buyers don't read the full auction page text so could well be that someone thinks he's/she's getting an original.

Let's make it the most expensive single in history and then someone send it to the papers to tell them what we have done and WHY !!

I think that's a top idea, might make eBay think about doing something about it too. They really should get someone like Manship or the likes to go through the listings as they go on, to say whether or not they are proper.

I gather Ebay have been told about this sale being a fake. No court of law would enforce payment under those circumstances, surely?

Hope she takes the successful bidder 2 court that would B worth reading

Right come on who's the cheapskate who's only bid £29,600............well I'm a Yorkshireman it's obviously not me

will the seller

be liable for ebay fees if winning bidder does not pay ( as ebay fees gets put straight on sellers bill wether paid or not) correct me if i'm wrong ? but the sellers fees will go up by NEARLY £3000 if things stay as they are

Big kids, fake bidders get a life.

I agree, but there are literally thousands on ebay at any one time. This seller does at least state " I am afraid I do not know whether the record is original" Full refund given if not happy.

Seller's been told of the 45's fakery , chose to ignore the information , out and out fraudster getting just deserts .

So do you message every fake 45 seller on ebay ?

After been badgered by various people with questions about the authenticity of the record it was amended,so I think the offer of a full refund was a small caveat that was hopefully not going to be taken up?

I agree this isn't isolated incident but hopefully all this will make e-bay take note...............wishful thinking I know.

He does know without a shadow of a doubt,he's trying it on and he is gonna come unstuck

Description clearly states the seller isn't sure if it's original or not.

Everyone who has that much money left to spend for a beaten up record he even don't know if it's original or not surely has more money then sense.

You have boots, copy's, counterfeits etc on eBay and most are easily noticeable, but this has been doctored as a one off with the sole aim to fleece some not so knowledgeable soulie

You are right & if any idiot wants to part with his hard earned cash & take a punt on this might be a real one that is his right but call me a cynic but does anyone put a record up on e-bay they know absolutely nothing about in this social media (he quotes he was born in 95 so live on his i-phone) times? Why would you bother?
