Hi Folks,

I know plenty of people enjoy reading play lists, but rather than just peoples' play lists, thought it would be of as much interest if people post their top 5 sounds that they hear played out over a weekend (and where you heard them)

So, take your 'Little Black Books' with you (ok, your phones!) :D and please share with us what made you take notice / or simply enjoyed hearing once again this weekend.

I'll look forward to reading them next week.

Have a great night out wherever you go

All the best,

Len

Would've been Chris de Luen playing Kenny and the Sunliners  ;)

Kinda hard to pick a top fifty tunes out of last night's offerings at a brilliant 100 Club let alone just five ... :hypo: ... but a few that stuck in my ear.

1. "Force" - "Holy Moses" -  Streaker ... Colin Law    (should have taken more notes from his superb sets , hopefully he'll post a playlist as they were pretty much all new to my old ears ...  )

2. "International Four" on Diane ... Colin again ( guessing it was Equal Love as it's the only thing I could find by them online , if anyone has a soundfile they could post (SteveG ?) I'd be eternally grateful as I don't know when I'll get to hear it out again)

3. "T.S.U. Tornadoes" on Ovide , instrumental  ... ???   ... Butch

4. Kitch's Alice Clark - Heartbreak ??? ... Will pester Alan for a playlist too as they were like Colins ,  two great sets of stuff that had me scratching my head.

5. "Wooden Nickels" - "Nobody But You" - Omen , can't remember who spun it ... ?

Five from the marvellous Carlton Club Prestwich last night, great work by all the Dj's, cracking first set by Andy, nice mix of styles by guest Gibby,

1 Scratch My Back                            Slim Harpo

2 Are You Fooling                            Lil Gray

3 Seek and You Shall Find                Isley Bros

4 Yes I love You Baby                       The Dynamics

5 Stranger in My Arms                     Lynne Randell (opening lines still send a shiver no matter how often I hear it)

meeting with family and friends on a bank holiday always gets people talking about topical records, their favs etc plus those sounds that suit this time of year, here are my five for this weekend...
