Hi folks Pete here, 

Today at 11am was my dear wife Susan's (Skippy Sue's) funeral. Her body was cremated at Howe Bridge crematorium. In my eulogy I gave another mention about my gratitude to the many soulies (and others) who have supported us through this difficult period. A few days ago we had the unexpected permission and bonus of allowing a few extra guests. I took this opportunity to ask a few of Susan's closest friends to be present. A few pictures were taken. When we have the memorial hopefully sooner rather than later 🤞 There will be some recollection of the funeral service etc. 

Thanks to every one of you for your cooperation and understanding in these dangerous times.

So saddened to learn of Sue's passing. My wife and i got to know Sue nigh on 20 years ago on our first visit to the Monaco Ballroom, Sue made us feel so welcome and then we used to see her at other venues we attended such as the Middleton nighter's eventually being introduced to Pete. Last saw Sue and Pete at Christmas and its so very sad to think we will not see her again out on a floor somewhere dancing the whole night as she did.

Our sincere condolences to Pete and family.

Happy memories of Sue skipping up and down the floor at Orrell and elsewhere, blunt, to the point no prisoners,  ''Oi you, you're dancing on my talc!!'' so sad for us-be some party over the hill. Some lovely conversations, beautiful inside and out.  Deepest deepest respects to the Triska family and friends.

Such a beautiful person inside and out.. Will be missed by the majority of venues in the North West.. it just won't be the same without her dancing or doing the rounds with her camera
