Some of you might be aware ,for the ones who aren’t  Ste is terminally ill, I’ve had a phone call today while holidaying in Greece, To say he’s been allowed home to spend his last days with Palliative care.

As you all know Ste was as colourful character as they come in life and on the Soul Scene, He is a great friend of mine and I’m sure if we send some prayers out to Ste and his family it would help them through this awful time. He loved his music and all his friends on the Scene, Lets send him some of that Love back.

So sad. A lovely bloke. Came up to St Helens quite a bit and along with Phil Shelton never a dull moment when they were about.  Top Top Man.

 

 

He was out a couple of Saturdays back at a local night, he was struggling and it was sad to see him like that, a true character of the soul scene with some right tales to tell. 

Smokey is much loved on the scene, an irrepressible character with a phenomenal knowledge of our music. Always look forward to a drink and a chat. If you're reading this Smokey, have one for me mate!

It's very sad to hear this. Last time I saw him was about 3 or 4 years back in a cafe in Wolves with Walter. Please pass on my thoughts.
