Whilst SS was down and being sorted over the last couple of days and Mike no doubt doing his upmost to get it sorted (thank you :wicked: ) How many times did you check to see if it had come back on, honest replies only please

myself about 100 times probably, how sad or am i.

My computer has been down for a few days so I didnt realise , but have to admit Im absolutely addicted! I spend far too long on it and sit up into the wee small hours when I know Im gonna suffer for it. I used to switch the kettle on first thing in the morning and now its the computer!! :huh:

Well to be truthful the figure that you have mentioned sounds about right for me as well..

The family got the blame to begin with until the youngest pointed out that the site was down

and wanted an apology (don't they just love it when your in the wrong) :huh:

I even checked last thing at night before heading to bed .. sad but true

glad to be back on SS,you dont realise how much you miss it when its down..

Keep up the good work Mike,the soul scene would be a sad state of affairs if it were'nt for SS,no comunication with the outside world etc..

:huh: Me too!! - after realising it was 3am, and after trying to access it from links on every site I could think of!

At one stage even thought it was my fault :ohmy: I have unique problems with all the computers at work - and it's allways my fault :)

It's difficult trying to get to sleep just as all the birds are waking up

have a few beers a couple of fags and 24 hours of soul source and you should be better in a couple of days, oh and try to get out if you can too as it all helps with the rehab, if not rub some margarine in your ears as thats garaunteed to fix you, :ohmy:

Maybe we should do a disaster recovery exercise and swap msn/yahoo messenger ids with the ss people we love to argue with the most! Just in case it goes down again.

Yes I am a mother of 2 small children!!!! :huh: I start up conversations in the queue at Tesco!

Well it has been blooming awful!!!!no one to bleedin disagree with...so my poor staff have had to suffer my Gordon Ramsey outbursts.....but now SS is semi running.....i am a bit better :huh: ......Delxxx

to me as a german i have to admit it is quite essential; reading playlists, record discussions, sales and wants stuff..it's just extremely interesting..

it just felt like all my good friends left the island and I am alone again :D

good to have it back :lol: h

I probably refreshed it a thousand times.

Actually got some work done inbetween times though!

Yeah, me too -I reckon a zillion times but it did help with work I was able to deal with whilst it was down. Great to have it back.

Oh s**t it turns out the wife is right, " nag nag nag you're always on soul source you never listen to what I'm saying", "sorry pet what was that". that was typical dialog and I never knew untill the site was down, you know what they say. ""you never miss a good thing til it's gone""

I was gutted every time I tried it was still down I thought the end was nigh!! :P

Absolutely lost without it.

I agree, it's essential. My language was shocking while it was off. I still can't get my PM's to go out. That is annoying when you've just spent 30mins typing [one finger] and carefully wording a message, only to find it's disappeared without trace when you hit the send button. :angry:

almost at the everything "should" be working as it should

in fact as everything has been rebuilt and upgraded from the bottom upwards in theory it should work better allround

note the "in theory" bit wink.gif

if are having probs with any feature or ought

can you try hitting ctrl and f5 in your browser on the page that having hassle with

also if possible clearing cookies and temp files and history etc as they can help solve some probs

if no joy can you post up details in feedback

Phil.... it, the PM, has probably been sent.... noticed myself that the tick box to save a copy was unticked for a time, I suppose by default whilst Mike sorted any probs, so unless you ticked it you wouldn't get a copy put in your sent box....

Just checked again now with "compose new message" and it seems to be ticked again by default so all's back to normal I assume....

As for original question.... tried too many times too count whilst at work on nights this week.... those shifts are way too long without SS to read and catch up with rolleyes.gif ....
