I agree on Melba Moore. Even if it's played to death for some, it's pure quality. I disagree on Carla Thomas. As good as it is, it always sounds "empty" to me and IMO it's pretty obvious it's an unfinished demo.

How about Chuck Jackson "what's with this loneliness"? Now that's a goodie...
