2nd one as an under rated gem off the 25 miles album

So many tunes but the one I always go back to on record room nites is 'Stay with me' on Granite, 'She should have been home' from the War and Peace album is rather tremendous as well.

Sadly missed.

Not his actual best - think I'd probaly have to plump for "I have Faith In You" - but the UK-recorded "It Ain't Fair", which Edwin cut for Peter Stringfellow's Hippodrome label in the mid 80s, is certainly among his best-ever releases....

Too many to choose from but you're right there Tony about 'It Ain't Fair', a wonderful record with a lyric that some of us can even empathise!!

If I wanted to play an Edwin record for myself it will always be 'If My Heart Could Tell The Story'.

It's the sincerity that gets ya.

"Eavesdropper" is a particular fave for me on the Granite label.

"I Have Faith In You" from his sixties period - pure class !!
