November 15, 201113 yr All of em Chris Over the years Gwen Owens - mystery man has always done that particular trick, tough one to dance to I think. Bobby Guitar Bennett - you did it again has also created some clusters of smokers in my experience.
November 15, 201113 yr All of em Chris Damm my clumsy fat fingers, go-slow keyboard and dial up connection.....I had you in my sights Threlfall....in my sights I tell ya!
November 15, 201113 yr This record is like MARMITE !! , great tune but impossible to dance to unless you've just won the recent dance comp at Blackpool !!!! Anybody play this out in their current sets ? Edited November 15, 201113 yr by 123-motown
November 15, 201113 yr Sinceres on Pzazz Vikki Styles on Odex (too funky - they initially think Darell Banks & then vacate the floor hastily) Edited November 15, 201113 yr by Kris Holmes
November 16, 201113 yr What's That - Jimmy McCracklin & 65 Bars - Louis Jordan Both now firmly consigned to the 'collection' shelves.
November 16, 201113 yr Vikki Styles on Odex (too funky - they initially think Darell Banks & then vacate the floor hastily) Always seems to do ok-ish over here. I say 'ish' as it depends where it is played I suppose. Never had the floor clear to it though.
November 16, 201113 yr Romona Collins Are you reffering to the version with the instrumental intro...................or the other non instrumental intro version ?? Ricardo.

November 16, 201113 yr Soulettes - bloody hell, some people have no taste! I reckon we could all say that about each other at various times.(Not referring to the actual tune-just the statement)
November 16, 201113 yr I reckon we could all say that about each other at various times.(Not referring to the actual tune-just the statement) Absolutely, if we all liked the same stuff, it would be THE BORING WORLD OF NORTHERN SOUL not the SWONS!!!!!!

November 18, 201113 yr I've just played this over the clip of the comp! ............................ many a true word wirtten in jest! I once played it - along with Gino on Golden Crest and the slow side of Stewart Ames - at what [i wasn't told ... just play what you want ...] was a proper oldies bash Was on first to "set the tone" for the evening and certainly did that, you've never seen a pie n peas queue form faster in your life LOL. I'd have a heart attack now after about 15 seconds!
