Hi Baz

Thought Zola was more of a Cleethorpes tune, don't remember it getting played that often at Wigan

Hi Dave

Might have been played at Cleethorpes but deffo played at Wigan my mate TC used to go mad for it.......

Helen Shapiro Stop And You Will Become Aware...hated most of the Brit Pop spins but had a soft spot for this and her other outing that was played very briefly by Richard, Take Me For A While .....

not forgetting blanch carter, halos are for angels, has anyone mentioned that yet?

A tune for Richard at the casino early days,?

Jackie Wilson = sweetest feeling

Vickie baines = country girl

benny Spellman = fortune teller

lamont Cranston band = takin a chance

skip Mahoney = janice

Early casino stuff from the casualeers

Don't know if it made the "monster category", and if now forgotten? but;

 Another early casino tune....

mecca then a big tune at wigan...

Rare tv footage from the casino...

  was a big casino tune....

Originally released in 1974 as a B side by Nosmo King and was simply called "Goodbye". Acetates later sent out by Pye and name changed to the Javells. I have the original somewhere in the house.

Update: Found one of the two I have (below), the other is mint label.

See, the mists of time cloud everything, records were played at all of the venues, in most cases it's impossible to say where they began.
