I love tunes like Sweets - "something about my baby" or Big Maybelle's "it's raining."

I'm sure people out there have tons of other great suggestions. I am looking to blow up my want list!

thanks!

Ruby and the romantics. We can make it. Kapp. Just a sublime production with awesome vocals

Could someone please post a clip for the people that will not have heard it.

Nancy Butts - I want to hold your hand baby (I get lonely) is another good one x

Enjoyed this thread very much. Good to see and hear some tunes that were new to me. Only thing is that some seemed a little bit too fast to be beat ballads, more medium tempo but I'm not complaining. More please.

This  type of sound appeals more and more nowardays , love that   Shirley Wahls   track   why am i crying ?    never heard it before .

Four from me,Annabelle Fox-Lonely Girl-Satin.Toni Harper-Someone's Crying-Charter.Suzy Wallis-A time for us-Rca,and......Timi Yuro-Get out of my life-Mercury (enough to make a grown man cry!!) Les Ash.

Patti Austin - " He's Good Enough For Me "

Makes me smile on a Sunday morning listening to my 9yr old daughter sing it word perfect

Top tune

Great thread............. :)

Sonji Clay is the ex wife of Muhammed Ali for those interested in knowing that  :) x

Jaye Kennedy. "I'm feeling it too"

Ashford& Simpson penned brilliance.

Merry Clayton, Nothing left to do but cry, I love this one x
