I was wondering pleaseĀ if the German copy of the Metros - Since I found my baby is a legit original and so can be played at an original only gig.

I have a copy of this and have always thought of it as an original 60's release. I think that there are a few 60's releases in Europe and not the UK. I'd have liked to have seen the Metro's on a UK 60's release!

There was also a Canadian release

Any chance of posting scan's/Pic's gents?

Yes, "No Baby" is the B side of the German release. I don't think I've ever played it before, quite like it though.

Cheers
Mick

As "No Baby" is written first and in bigger font on the picture sleeve, I've always assumed it was as the intended A side by the record company.

'no baby' is indeed the "plug side" on the promo USA RCA 45 single. Soft spot I always have for my WDJ RCA 45's... the German picture sleeve was aĀ "regular"Ā find years ago in Belgium due to play of 'since I find my baby'Ā (pitched down) on the pop-corn scene.

PersonallyĀ IĀ never like that picture sleeve poorly printed in black and white on cheap quality paper in comparison with the flashy blue LP cover !!! But it is an original issue and is collectable as valuable and playable out.Ā
