Shouldnt have to avoid the lens . I have politely asked not to be on photos vids etc at venues and it has upset a few . What these ameteur David Baileys need to realise is that we are not all self obs
Quite often nowadays you'll see someone with videoing the dance floor - it ranges from people with their mobile phone to others with steadicam type rigs and lights attached. There are at least two YouTube channels - 'Jud's Northern Soul' and 'Northern Soul TV' dedicated to just this activity. My understanding is that if the promoter is OK with it and the event is "public" then it's fine. There's nothing much that can be done about it, and as we all have a mobile phone in our pockets it's only going to increase but what are your thoughts?
