So sad. Marc was a top lad , vastly underrated DJ and genuine nice guy .

I didn't know Marc personally but Morcambe was one of my first all-nighters before I knew any DJ names - I just went to dance back then!, I'm told he was a great influencer and a top DJ!

Shaun Gibbons will be putting together a set in honour of his memory for the Bury Virtual All-Nighter on the 27th February - I know they were good mates and it's something Shaun will take great pride in.

 

Very sad news. Great memories of his modern sets on the Pier. I will listen to Shaun's tribute on the 27th. R.I.P Marc

Totally shocked - Bloody hell terrible news knew marc from Wigan casino/ Tiffs and of course the Central Pier - Morecambe were He became one of top DJ’s

Sad news loved his playlists back in the day used to follow them in Echoes and try and bag a few ,agree he was a top person.

 

Very very sad news to hear the passing

of Mark , he was an inspirational modern soul man ahead of his time

we spent many nights at the casino and

morecambe clubs  being childhood friends , sharing so many good times 

can’t believe it , my thoughts are with his loved ones

Marc F had incredible taste in music 

he was really at the cutting-edge of the 

modern scene , he was there leading the change right at the beginning in

todmordon With soul Sam and about 40

soul fans in 1979/80 , his dad had a bar 

and he would  play me some really rare

stuff at the time, on the oldies side he

was one of the first to have a copy of the seventh avenue aviators on Congress .

we were very close and went to the casino together for about three years

with Leon as he was a bit younger than

me , we had some amazing times together , really the best of times

Listened to this during the week.  Excellent tribute from Shaun for Marc.

Listened to the whole set today, fabulous tribute for Marc .
