"My Baby.." was on an album that was released in 1959 so it's okay for this thread. I've heard "Drip Drop" by the Drifters and Big Maybelle's "I Got A Feeling" got a few spins.

If you limit it to the "classic" NS scene the list is rather short. But if you widen scope to incorporate the R&B/New Breed R&B scene the list is endless 😀
Just been playing Richard Berry ‘Have love will travel’ and remember Roger Banks playing it out regularly late 90’s or so, Wilton etc
Got me thinking there can’t have been too many 1950’s records played on the northern scene - Nina Simone ‘my baby just cares for me’ one that springs to mind - any other examples?
