I said to my Mrs “what are some questions that only proper NS scene people would know”? Her reply; “There’s a Soul Source thread there”. Here’s a few we came up with. Bit of fun. All suggestions/questions welcome. 1. Why is Johnny Fingers called Johnny Fingers? 2. Is it acceptable at a venue to abruptly end a conversation and take to the dance floor? 3. Name 3 iconic nighter venues of the 1970’s. 4. What is Soul Sam’s real name? 5. Name three of the rarest soul 45’s of all time. Toughie as these slippery chancers could probably still answer some of those from digging around on line.
