Please PM me if you or anyone you know wants to get rid of their non soul related LPs & 45s, will travel for large collections and pay good money for the right stuff!
Never seen this font on a UK London let alone on an Yvonne Baker also odd that it's a solid centre? It's as if it's a UK export issue which is in itself is absurd, now I know it's worth bugger all but I thought it might be useful to put it on here as a reference and wondered if anybody else has had one?
I agree but "dancing in the street and other classic motown tracks have been covered many times by many artists but I've never hear this covered before but I'm sure someone will prove me wrong.
There has to be an explanation for this as he don't need the money or is this just the latest example of jumping on the northern soul bandwagon? Either way it's blooming awful!
I have a copy this record and always assumed it wasn't booted. There is no mention of it in the 3rd edition of Manship's bootleg guide either although it could be in later editions? It looks properly authentic but does not have any matrix in the run-out groove but just the titles of each side scratched in. I know there are definitely arp stamped copies but from what i can see they don't have the bunky's pick on them. Any info greatly appreciated. Piccy below
Such sad news. R.I.P. John and thank you for the great memories of you and allowing me to trawl through the mountains of vinyl in your barn, a true Gentlemen and an absolute legend.
Genuine copy in vg+ condition, some ring wear and a couple of bits of tiny debris that got into the pressing when pressed which are virtually inaudible, superb playback with no crackle etc. Buy it now price or will put on evilbay on Sunday.
Just sold these on ebay and buyer has not responded, all packed and ready to ship. They're all in gorgeous condition just need to add shipping cost. Uk £15.00, Europe £20.00
