    Friday 21st cancelled - Just this second had a phone call from the Bagley Club to advise us that the room has been double booked. Sincere apologies from myself and Rob Brown as I know we all look forward to our time at the Bagley. I'm sorry but this matter is beyond out control and we have had to cancel at this late hour. Our humblest and sincerest apologies for the inconvenience. Hope you'll forgive us and we'll see you Friday Feb 18th with guest John Gallagher.

    As with all the price conversations it all gets a bit mad. I'm certainly not a millionaire as I've been a BT/Openreach engineer for 41 years and still am. But as you get older and manage to save a few pounds over the decades it's not until my post 40 years I've been able to afford the big hitters. Finally managed to get a mint one of these not too many years ago. Wasn't cheap but seems a good investment by looks!

    What a great article! Nice to see local lad and regular Kipper get in on the action too! Have popped in and out of the venue over the decades since the 80's. But nowhere near as much as I should have done! But it is a venue that touches you and leaves an everlasting imprint! That list of tunes speaks for itself of the quality you hear whichever decade you decide to visit. That Harboro Horace chap knows quality and has instilled that word in the fabric of this legendary soul venue. Lucky enough to get a ticket for Saturday so another quality memory on its' way!
