Anyone on here had a top 100 number and how high did they go

Yeah! there are blue ones but not bright shiny blue like that!

Not booting memberships are they.How desperate  do you have to be.? Yes a duller blue than that one in the photo.

Mine was green, issued 1974. as I remember. Don't think the cards came in pink for a girl, blue for a boy, they were date related colours.

mine was blue . always thought it was a blue for boys pink for girls type thing .  any lads have a pink one ?    lets re-phrase that any lads with a pink membership card ?

I borrowed one off I think Tommy Allinson in 74 ish. His number was 22.

Mine was Yellow & forged..........nicked some of the right coloured card from work & copied the lettering off my mates with a felt tip.Got in for ages with it until I lost it & had to get a new one which I think was a light blue?

They look too new to be authentic, mines wilting after being in the drawer for about 40 years

I borrowed one for the first year!! There were always loads of kids at school who had a membership card but never went!

Here's mine - a bit the worse for wear! Used to get very hot and sweaty in my back pocket and I think it went in the washing at least once. So I covered it in tape to hold it together. (p.s. just found the envelope it came in - strange the things you keep!)

The earliest one was red. There were pale blue and yellow versions also. The ladies card was green. I have a blue one, a yellow one and two green ones in the name of the old girlfriend. My first membership was separated into two, as were many others, as the wheeze was to give a mate without a membership, half of one to flash to the bouncer on the door. Estimates put the total membership at 100,000 but this is probably an overestimate given the number of us who had several membership cards.

That's right Matt. Black echoes or blues and soul used to have the membership applications. To be filled in and posted to arrive at station road 48 hrs before you planned on going.

MINE GAVE THE GAME AWAY .  I FELL ASLEEP ON THE SETTEE  AFTER MY FIRST NIGHTER AND IT DROPPED OUT OF MY SPENCERS ONTO THE FLOOR .  RUMBLED. 

 I'D  SYNCHRONIZED MY FIRST CASINO VISIT WITH A SCHOOL CAMPING WEEKEND. WENT OUT WITH MY CAMPING STUFF, TINS OF BEANS  etc. HID IT ALL IN A FIELD  AND WENT TO THE CASINO.   GOT BACK.  SET THE TENT UP AND THEN GOT MOVED ON BY THE POLICE.  TOO TIRED AND WET TO CARRY ON WITH THE CAMPING  CHARADE , WENT HOME AND FELL ASLEEP.  WOKE UP TO MY PARENTS IN VARIOUS STAGES OF MELTDOWN .  YOURE NOT STAYING OUT ALL NIGHT AND GOING TO THAT WIGAN CASINO AT 14.      START OF A SLIPPERY SLOPE.

I've still got the Blues & Soul Magazines where I had cut off the bottom of the adverts to send off for memberships for friends as well.

You'd think in this age the divs could get the colour right at least on the boot….I think yellow came before blue for boys….blue was certainly the colour in 77. Yellow one from 76.

Mine was light blue and used only the once. I lost it, along with a wallet on the A610 from Ripley to Eastwood; fell out of my pocket when riding my SX200 ;)

Yellow, second hand (came from a mate of a mate), covered in Sellotape (sounds like a mail order bride).

My cards a red un, complete with typo....didnt know that they came in the post.....

On the first night I had to pick it up on the door before the nighter started.

Think my numbers 320 ish.

These cards were used for lads AND lasses - No ladies and gents.

Every week it ended up sodden with being in a wet sweaty arsed pocket all night,

Often wondered if I soaked it in water, drank it, that I would get blocked due to all the gear in my sweat...

just checked mine must of been a lot of peeps getting memberships as mines dated Aug 74 and is membership number 014040 thats almost 2000 member in a month. must 'ave been about my third one as I was told off Mrs Woods I wouldn't be getting another!!   so I took her advise looked after it and I still have it!!

Like many I've still got mine. Light blue, June 1980 number 086173. Rubber stamped twice on what was supposedly the last night by Mrs Woods; "CASINO CLUB (WIGAN) LTD".
