Hmm, if you mean artists that play the sax:

Eddie Bishop - Call Me.... :D

Junior Walker...Good Rockin'/ Tune Up... :thumbsup::D

But if you mean sax breaks in records:

The sax break in O C Smith's 'I'm Glad I Fell in Love with you'.

The choice is yours :D Jo

PS...and ANYTHING featuring Mike Terry....

The Temptations' "Get Ready" - not only the best sax solo on any soul record, but also possibly the shortest!

TONE :unsure:

This is my fave Northern sax break ...

:thumbsup::thumbsup::(

and bl**din' obvious, I know, but I do have a soft spot for the Rotations "Put another dime on D9"/Barbara Mason "Bobby is my Baby"...

I like Beans Bowles sax solos on the Motown hits. Also, Danny DeMille's sax solos on Rick James' songs.

This is my fave Northern sax break ...

Had this drop through my letterbox today.Jimmy Castor on the Smosh lerbel. Wonderful flip to this aswell. How do you dance to something like this?

Soulvation Army Band- Dancing on A Daydream. The whole tune is almost a sax break with a pinch of organ, some strings and haunting female backing singers. 7TS Soul perfection. Never heard it played out. Awesome record! Anyone like it?

ALSO Irene and the Scotts- Stuck on my Baby proper gritty 6ts stomper great sax break in that.
